Basic Lessons

$650

Welcome to our 4-lesson pack on dog training, where you will learn some essential commands to enhance your dog's behavior and obedience. Each lesson will last one hour and focus on teaching your dog four basic commands: recall/sit, holding position, heel, and down, laying a foundation for advanced dog training.

Lesson 1: Recall/Sit In the first lesson, you will learn how to train your dog to come when called and sit on command. The recall command is essential for keeping your dog safe and under control when off-leash, while the sit command is useful for preventing jumping or overly excited behavior. We will cover techniques for establishing a strong recall and sit, such as using high-value treats and positive reinforcement.

Lesson 2: Holding Position In the second lesson, you will learn how to train your dog to sit where you point to on command and hold that position until you release them. This command is helpful for controlling your dog's behavior when guests are visiting or when you need your dog to stay put in a specific location. We will discuss how to choose suitable locations and how to train your dog to go there on command as part of your dog obedience training.

Lesson 3: Heel In the third lesson, you will learn how to teach your dog to walk nicely on a leash using the 'heel' command. This command encourages your dog to walk beside you without pulling or wandering off. We will discuss the importance of using positive reinforcement, proper leash handling, and consistency when teaching this command.

Lesson 4: Down In the final lesson, you will learn how to teach your dog the 'down' command. This command signals your dog to lie down and stay in place until released. We will cover various techniques for teaching this command, such as using a lure or capturing the behavior, and how to gradually increase the duration and distance of the down stay.

By the end of this 4-lesson pack, you will have a better understanding of how to communicate with your dog and establish a strong foundation of obedience. Mastering these basic dog commands will help you gain better control of your dog and enhance your relationship with them.
